An ode to airport style
There was once a time when flying was considered such a luxury that people would dress to the nines just to walk down the tarmac. This has been replaced with sweatpants, comfy shoes and messy buns/bonnets. I’m not judging, just observing. However, I love being undeniably me in every setting. I still want to be fab, even at the airport. Now it is important for me to be comfortable as well so I came up with a list of things that will help me achieve this. The 90’s were pretty iconic for the celebrity airport pics. The outfits were nice, but a little too minimal for me. That’s when I started to think of some of my favorite movie characters and I was instantly inspired. Daphne Blake and The Cheetah Girls will always do it for me. I truly appreciate 90’s minimalism and neutrals but I love a pop of color! Being cute and functional is the goal when catching a flight. I don’t want to be stuck at tsa taking off a bunch of accessories, but I also want to feel my best. Check out the illustration below for some inspo!
