Food Ting$
So I've been vegan for 5 years now and I feel great about the decision I made. One thing that has been a struggle for me though is keeping weight on. I've always been slim, but since being vegan, I've slimmed down even more. I don't have a problem with eating, I love to eat but sometimes I'm not as cognizant of the amount of calories I'm taking in. I did try protein shakes/lifting and that was working but eating was starting to feel like a chore. Like I feel like I would have to stuff my body and I don't like that feeling of being constantly full. I'm debating if I need to change my diet so its more compatible with my lifestyle/body. IDK! I love animals and the climate, so it's a lot to think about. I just wonder if it would't be such an uphill battle to keep weight on if I adhered a Mediterranean diet. Still no dairy/eggs/pork/beef though because my body is better without it. I'm not that desperate yet lol. But with more fats and proteins like fish, chicken and still focusing on whole foods. Also I really want to stop consuming processed foods this year, and the Mediterranean diet feels more aligned with that goal. I just want to look and feel good, inside and out, TO ME.
