A MF Word!

I recently placed a bid on these really cute snakeskin boots on eBay and I lost but I learned a lesson. It was a regular day and I was scrolling on eBay, per usual. Then something caught my eye! These were a NASTY pair of boots that I just came across for under $30, also they were Jeffery Campbell so it was a steal. As soon as I saw them I placed a bid and checked on it multiple times. There was about a 3 day window until the bidding was over. It appeared that I was the only one interested in these boots until literally the last 20 seconds of the bid. I really thought! Literally with seconds to spare, someone bids a dollar more than me and before I realize what’s happening, it’s over. The lesson that I learned is that it’s always better to move in silence and with strategy. Had I not prematurely bid on the shoes, I could have had a better chance at securing them. I showed my hand too fast. Now obviously, these are just shoes, but I feel like this can be applied to many areas of my life. I realize the importance of switching from an “I need!” mindset to “how do I obtain this?” mindset.
