Destiny Diaries: Home

I’m starting a series where I talk about things that I do to curate my fabulous life. This will focus on things that I do now to prepare myself for the life that I know I’m destined for. Today I’m talking about my space. I have such a vivid picture in my mind for how I want my next space to look. I’ll be even more financially free, so everything will be exactly as I want it to be. I’ll soon have the space and funds to accommodate my round bed and I’m excited. But until then, I think about how the bedding will look, how it’ll feel to stretch my arms out and remove my Pucci sleeping mask in the morning. I envision how my space will smell, how the curtains will look and how it’ll feel to cook in my kitchen. These are things that I do currently have, just in a different font. I’m grateful for my apartment. In the meantime, I’ve taken time to curate my senses to smells, tastes and designs. I’ve purchased interior design books, and made layouts of my new living room. I’m always looking at new furniture, flights and moving companies so it can feel real, because it is! I envision my commute to my workspace to run my businesses. I envision how I’ll film in my new space and the places I will frequent to get myself acquainted with my new city. I even have the city in my weather app so I can envision how the seasons change in a different climate.

One thing that I finally understand is that if I want something, I can get it. Sometimes you really do just have to close the door and open a window! Like with my boots. I was so fixated on the only way that I thought I could obtain them and they just fell into my lap when I took a step back and focused inward. You really never know how or when things will appear in your life, just be prepared and ready to receive. Me showing up for myself on this blog, in my businesses and on social media is how I’m getting prepared. How are you?
