Daydreamin' on a Friday
Happy Friday!! This week has been long but productive. I finally narrowed down the designs that I want to work on this weekend for my next, next collection. It will be aquatic themed, I'm not 100% sure on a name for the collection though. I want something chic, simple and descriptive. That's last on my to do list, so I'm not too worried about that yet. One thing I've been doing to keep myself motivated and focused is creating a revised digital vision board with what I want my life to look like. It's much easier to work towards a goal when I have a specific picture in my head of what my life looks like when I achieve said goal. One of my greatest strengths is my mind and being able to access an endless well of ideas and inspiration. My work ethic needs to match and accommodate these amazing ideas. I had a come to Jesus moment a few weeks ago because I am really starting to understand my endless potential and the improvements that I need to make. I have such lofty goals that require me to work towards them daily. It was lightbulb moment when I realized that my previous struggles don't disqualify me from having to work for what I want. That realization gives me the awareness and the power to let things go that no longer serve me. (trauma) I now feel that I'm giving myself permission to dream and to shamelessly pursue the life that I desire and deserve.
