How I manifested my move to NYC🕯️📝🍎
If I would have told myself a year ago that I would be out of Texas living it up in New York, I would’ve been in disbelief! Moving out of state felt like such a distant dream, but I continued to keep the faith and now I’m living my dreams. Below are some things that I did to energetically align myself with what I wanted.
Inner-work: I attended weekly therapy sessions and made sure to stay on top of my meds. I challenged myself to show up as the ideal version of myself everyday, even when I didn’t feel like it.
Daydreaming: I spent a lot of time writing and daydreaming about what an average day would look like for me in NYC. I would image me walking down 5th avenue in my designs and networking with other creatives. I would think about what my daily routine would be like, what products I used. I started to save restaurants, yoga studios and fabric shops on Google Maps that I planned on routinely visiting.
Visualization: The Walks in the City YouTube channel was always on in the background. It didn’t matter is I was working, sewing or cleaning, my tv always showed someone walking the streets of Manhattan. I also made digital and physical vision boards of moving to nyc and my room layout. I had pictures of The Cheetah Girls and Jenna Rink on my screensaver and vision boards. I’m literally laying on the exact bed that wanted. (Next I’ll finally have my round bed)
Words: I would literally wake up and look at Leonardo and tell him that we’re moving to New York everyday! I would tell myself that as well!
Making space/Taking Action: I submitted my 60 day notice to my apartment and made it happen. I didn’t know how I would get to New York, but I knew that I needed to figure it out. I planned my birthday trip on a whim and everything slowly but surely fell into place.
