Low quality is better...sometimes
I've been contemplating my elusive presence on instagram as of late. I rarely post because I just don't vibe with the concept of the platform. However, I want to grow as an artist and business owner. Instagram is a tool that I should be taking more advantage of. But I want to do it in my own way. I really don't care to share my life in 4K on that platform. It feels invasive. Back when instagram was new, there was a lot less effort and an element of low quality that everything had. I have a digital camera that I need to use more and I think my page would be the perfect place. There's something beautiful about a grainy resolution on a picture or video that just can't be replicated with newer technology. Of course lighting and angles are just as important, but I don't like seeing every fine detail on anyone's face/body. It becomes almost uncanny, in my opinion. I want my presence on the internet to be undeniably me. Soon you'll see some grainy videos/pictures that give 1080p webcam!
